Epic adventure that really goes for quality over quantaty
God of War is simply a fantastic game! It looks absolutely awesome and realistic, especially the eviroments. Kratos, who is the main charecter has a really nice and deep voice that suits him very well. Music is very well done and will make you rember it for long to come. The story is slowly told to you as you progress throught the game in nice movie sequences there look really realistic. You have to kill the God of War, and you don't care how you do it because you must, no matter what. You must get your revenge. Don't worry, you'll see why towards the end. You will play this game maybe twice, but you will still have a lot to do in the trasures section which adds a lot to the replay value. The gameplay is superb. You have many moves , magics and weapons that you can use to smash your way throught monsters. You gain new abilities as you progress through the game which enable you to do some really cool moves that help you a lot! The puzzles are really great and creative and they mix perfectly with the action. However, there was this one sequence where you had to navigate your way throught spikes on a rotating cylinder thing. Let the spike touch you, and you would fall all the way to the botom and have to restart all over again. I found it extremely frustrating and I thought it was a really cheap puzzle. It ruined the whole experince towards the end. I really don't understand why the makes of God of War would put that in the game. It's the only reason I gave the gameplay a 9 and not a 10. Neverless, God of War is still a superb experience in every way and should not be missed.
