Addicting, bloody, and the amazing storyline. This game has it all.

Meet Kratos, a man with a score to settle with the God of War. Having once been the youngest general in the Spartan army, Kratos was the most fierce warrior in the land. Well, now, he is a champion of the Gods of Olympus and has been sent on the seemingly impossible mission, to kill the God of War, Ares. To do so, Kratos must face many enemies and challenges in order to find Pandora's Box, an artifact with the power to slay a god. First off, from elementary school to high school, I wrote about 5 reports on Greek mythology. I can not get enough of it. When I first played this game, the myths I typed on my family computer came to life. First, you have every mythical monster, from the multi-headed serpent, the Hydra, to the snake woman, Medusa. You are also put up against gigantic cyclops and blood-thirsty minotaurs, plus a bucket full of undead soldiers. The graphics in this game are just AMAZING! I have never seen such great graphics since Halo and I knew instantly that I was in for quite the ride. The controls are extremely simple and the voice acting is professionally done. The music, level designs, and the aura of the game makes you feel like you are in ancient Greece. Note: This is not a game for the sensitive stomach. The combos you can pull off are really awesome to do and the game is so addicting that I remember I woke up at 7 AM and started playing and the whole day, I said "After this mission." "Well, killing the Sirens is fun." "After this, I'm done." When I finally had the heart to turn off the game, it was about 4 PM. I love the music in this game. The brilliant orchestral score is just unforgettable. I got in trouble at school once because I was humming the main theme :-). Plus, the reason I love this game is because if it weren't for playing this game for 4 hours after school, I wouldn't have gotten an A+ on my English class' Greek Mythology test. Due to my sensitive parents, I usually need to play certain parts of the game when they're gone, because there is nudity in this game. This game deserves what I got on my test, an A+.
