One of the best games for PS2. Period.

Amazing game. Thats what i can say. I bought this game 3 days back and have played around 10 hours on it.. The game play is very good, nice story line and very good action. Its similar to watching an action movie or even better coz you get to fight instead of just watching the guy (Kratos) fight.

You are basically Kratos, a angry fighter, who sets out to kill the God of war, and in his quest he comes across some of these amazingly portrayed creatures like the hydra, which he has to kill to move forward. The puzzle solving nature of the game adds to the thrill of the game, apart for the outrageous combats and action that kratos performes. The killings and executions are really satisfying

There is a lot of blood shed and scenes of nudity so the rating of the games should be taken seriously.. Ages 17+ only.

Overall, i really enjoyed the game and i can safely comment that GOW is one of the best games for the PS2 console and the best game that i've played yet...

Highly recommended for people aged 17+.
