God of War is a must buy
If you like Action Adventure games, then you will love God of War. The story is one that will draw you in as you play the game. You get to the point where you want to press on to find out why is Kratos, so pissed at everyone. The story is well told and develops at a great pace. Always giving you enough to keep you interested in moving on, but never enough for you to make any conclusions until the end.
The controls are basically perfect. What ever you want Kratos to do, you can do it with precission that many games lack. This makes the game play all the better as you start to take on the personallity of the character. You get to the point where you believe your capable of doing everything Kratos has to offer at will. This is what makes the game so much fun.
The camera angles are perfectly done to keep you in the best perspective possible for the action on screen. The camera feels like part of the game and it allows you to run freely without the worries of getting in a bad position.
The graphics are amazing and the levels are very unique. This makes exploring fun without having to do too many puzzles for the sake of puzzle solving. The puzzles in the game make you feel as if you accomplished it for a reason and it makes sense why it was there. This is lost in so many games. Some games feel like they add things for the sake of adding more things in the game, but they don't work together with the enviroment or story that well. God of War does this perfectly IMO.
If you are looking for a challenge, then this game will fill the bill. The game is very playable at the normal level, but when you boost it up, you really have to work for it. There are some cool things to unlock and a minigame that is very difficult but rewarding to accomplish.
I recommend anyone who is interested in an Actiond Adventure that will set the mark for all other games to follow. Every gamer deserves to experience a game as good as this one.
