A remarkable game in every aspect

Let's start from the outset. Before I open the box, it says you can download the ENTIRE soundtrack for free from the Sony website. HOW COOL is THAT!! I then proceeded to open the box. The manual is decent with some interesting artwork. I popped the game in. I went to options. And lo and behold, it has a setting for Widescreen, a setting for progressive scan, AND Surround sound. I have a 37" Philips LCD and a Bose Surround sound system, and the enhanced graphic options (widescreen, progressive) , and the Surround sound option really enhance the total experience. I then proceed to scan the other options and I notice there are a whole bunch of cool extras under the Treasure listing in the menu. I have to say that I am already impressed, and looking forward to a hopefully decent game. I pop the game in, and watch. I am so blown away that when the story stops, and the game starts it takes me a second to realize that I can actually start playing!!!.. This game is GORGEOUS. Character designs are just over the top, the backgrounds are truely one of the most breathtaking backgrounds I have ever seen in an adventure game. So graphics-wise this game is 10/10. The story is VERY good. It reminded me of reading an old book on Greek mythology, like the seven tasks of Hercules. The narration is SUPERB. The sounds are great. The gameplay is Flawless, and truly innovative. The fighting engine is varied and not monotone, the AI is great, the extras are great. And the boss battles!!! OH MY GOD!!!! They are simply amazing, and breathtaking. To sum it up I can say that this game is without a doubt one of the best games I have ever played, and it will forever stay in my mind. It is fun beyond measure, and I can say if you haven't played this game then you haven't had a full life.
