god of war is awesome. i have over 100 games in my library and this is easily one of the best. why'd i wait so long?!

This is one of those games that reminds you why you started playing games in the first place. After an hour with this game it was like.....

-the first time you played a final fantasy.
-that giddy feeling you got when you realized how amazing Devil May Cry is.
-the first time beating super mario bros.
-the first time you played Contra on nintendo.
-the jaw dropping beauty of mgs3 snake eater.

i think you get the point. god of war is awe-inspiring. it's beautiful, and runs tighter than a ferrari. The combat, level design, bosses, and puzzles all have one thing in common: they're all innovative. this is a word heard all too infrequently in gaming.

kudos to scea. i hope they bought the creator his own place in the hamptons, because this idea and execution were golden! I'm just dissapointed in myself for waiting this long before finally picking up a copy. if you don't already have this, stop wasting time and pick it up.

yes it's still 50$ all this time later, but when you sit down with it you'll know why. This will be the best 50$ you've spent so far this year.
