perfect?!?
the graphic of the game is just terrific. when you get in athen and find
the giant ares fighting on the background, and nothing getting slower, well... thats amazing! but you can actually see how good is the graphic from the first real boss, the three headed hydra. just amazing!
the english voice of kratos's just real convincing and good. not the same for the europen voices. they are good, but not that convincing, don't really know why.
the game is real easy, but that's not a real big problem, cuz spartan and divine difficulty exists for anyone who wants something more of a challange. but here's the first problem: enemies and in particular the main great bosses of the game (as the hydra or the minotaur) aren't harder..., they're just longer to defeat... even in divine difficulty the enemies are pretty dumb. more aggressive, more powerfull, and more resistent, but just as dumb as always.
the game is a little short, but you get a real powerfull feeling you gotta play it again. and that's good.
now, all the things i said so far were considerations on the game. i did not spoke of the real probems of this game, and so far it would have been a game worth of an almost ten. now i'll explain why 8:
too short, maybe a bit too easy the first time you finish it, and you got to finish it some times before you unlock something worth of it. here's the first real annoing thing: you can't skip the movie scenes. no matter how many times you finish it.
second: the camera is amazingly annoing: very often when you are in places where you got to walk balaced the camera switch to find the best looking shot. that's not always the most confortable, if you know what i mean. also sometimes you can't see the enemies because of the camera. and anyone can see how annoing may that be with an enemy that could kill you in three attaks(sometimes less in divine diff)
third: kratos is a whining guy. he offered his life to ares. he said to ares " you save me, i'll give you my life and i'll do anything you say". ares makes him an undefeateble fighter and sends him to make war. ares send him in a village to submit it. kratos doesn't remember where his family was, doesn't recognize them, kills them, and then started whining and giving all the shame to ares, cuz ares put him into war. dahh! you know, you offered your life to the god of war! what were you expecting? to grow flowers and make love with people? to get drunk? and also: if you don't know or don't remember where your family lives, and can't recognize them, it his not his fault, so just stop complaining and find some other exuses. also i was wondering what the family of a spartan general was doing in a temple of athena, the greatest enemy of the protector of the spartan people.
so, to conclude this too long review: good, solid game, on wich you can spend many hours, but i don't find the best action game of ever, i had much more fun on devil may cry 3. but it is still a good action. not perfect, but real good.
