User Rating: 9 | God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP
Ready at Dawn Studios has shown the world that they are legit game developers after creating one of the best portable games ever made in Daxter. So coming into God of War Chains of Olympus, I had somewhat high expectations due to the God of War title, as well as the game developers who were behind it. I must say after completing the game, I was not disappointed, nor was I blown away. It's an awesome game, and one of the best PSP Game's in the market to date.

~ Gameplay:

If you played God of War before, then you will be instantly familiar with the gameplay. As for myself, I've played a little God of War on the PS2 in the past, so I had a lil knowledge about the gameplay. For Chains of Olympus, Kratos get's to use a few variety of weapons that can be upgraded as well. Magic spells is an awesome feature for those tough battles. There was a nice variety of puzzle gameplay that made you feel amazed after you solved them. It was basically the same formula as before, just different environments and battles, but still very fun and satisfying.

~ Graphics + Sound:

Wonderful graphics on the PSP, I dare to even say better than the PS2? I only say this because when I played God of War on the ps2, it wasn't so clear because of the composite ps2 cables being connected to a LCD TV. With the PSP's bright and colorful LCD screen, all the graphics look bright and sharp, and I really enjoyed it from the cutscenes to the gameplay. Sound effects and music were supurb. I even got a lil freaked out when I killed some prisioners and they yelled in terror. Music sets the mood just right.

~ Story:

Since I didn't play deeply in the previous God Of War games, I wasn't so sure what was up with the past storys, but with this game's story, it flows pretty well and keeps the game moving on.

~ Value:

Has unlockables for replay value, however, the game was much shorter than Daxter, but still a great game for the PSP.

~ Overall:
9/10 is the final score. Definte buy for anyone who is into action beat em up games. Great game experience for the PSP. Ready at Dawn are proven game developers. I hope they make more PSP titles, because no one seems to do it better.
