Maybe I am just a little biased after playing the first two games but GOW:COO just felt too short. The graphics were amazing and the game play was genuinely fun, right up until you got to the end and realized you just spent $40 on a game that lasted less than ten hours. The replay value diminishes as you play each difficulty and beat it. Honestly how many times can you play the same story, defeat the same enemies and do everything that the game has to offer. This was my big pet peeve with the other God Of Wars as well, but at least they were long enough where the change in difficulty made the game feel different. I played all the difficulties on Chains of Olympus within the first week, and then what else am I supposed to do? This is a game I wish I had bought used so I could have just returned it after having beaten it, instead I was forced to sell it back for less than half of what I payed for it. The game simply did not have enough content and story to it for it to be perfect, but it did have solid game play and awesome graphics so I think Gamespot was spot on with an 8.5.
