Kratos on Small Screen But Kicks Ass Big time
let's start with the gameplay, if you already played Godofwar and Godofwar2 for the ps2 you'll be on familiar territory, the mechanics, puzzles, monster, boss minigames are here, which actually isn't a bad thing, it's as solid in here as with the console sequels.
it's brutal fun to decimate numerous kinds of monsters from greek mythology, and to support this is the best graphics in a game that psp has to offer, Ready at Dawn definitely raises the bar for pushing the psp graphics to the limit, from minor details to the amazing backdrops it just keeps me astonished how this is achieved on a portable system.
aside from the graphics it has also a solid soundtrack, ranging form middle eastern to epic god of war-esque music it blows me away, and for optimal experience it is advisable to use headphones/earphones.
but all of this has small gripes, the games is short, i finished the game in 7hours in Hardmode and it has less extremely satisfying boss battles, but this problems are understandable since it's in portable and UMaD has only limited space, but RaD adds the more games modes after you finish the game to keep fresh and all this modes are a welcome addition and great for a portable title.
to sum it up, It's God of War on portable! what more could you ask for! it's definitely worth every psp owners gaming money.
