God of War (GOW) for the PSP is simply awesome. It is probably the most fun I've had playing a game in quite a while. The graphics are superb. The little mini-games within the main story line really elevate the game above a simple "slash it until it's dead" game. The gore is extreme, so the rating of "M" is appropriate. Speaking of mini-games, the little threesome mini-game...what's that all about? It was fun, but what was the point?

My big complaint is the length of the game. It is way too short, and will leave you wanting more. I only played through once, but that was enough. I know what to expect, and so I'm ready to sell my copy after about 10 hours of gameplay. So rent this and play it over a week.

I tried playing it again in God mode to unlock some goodies, but it proved so difficult that I gave up in disgust. It's simply not worth my time and frustration.

However, that's the ONLY negative thing about this game. GET IT AND PLAY IT!
