It's gore-tastic! Great for all those who still game on PS2!

Now I'm sure most of you, if not all, have played the first God of War. If you were thinking because David Jaffe wasn't the main director of this game that it would suck, you were wrong, as was I. I was very disappointed to hear that David Jaffe was only the creative director, but was pleasantly suprised with how the new guy did, he did amazingly! No need to worry my friends! Now on to the review:

Gameplay: Awesome, down to every bit of it. Sure it is a little button mashey, but we can forgive its very minor flaws in exchange for its bloody, gory, violent gameplay, that is always fun! Same combat moves from last time, plus new ones that totally kick ass! Especially the grabbing enemies that are in the air with your blades! All the button sequences are here, and just as exciting as before. If you thought the previous God of War gameplay was great, you will think the same for this one, because of the cool new additions to it!(besides, who could not like all the gory combat in the game?)

Graphics: Can I say simply stunning? I couldn't believe what they did with this PS2 game! It looked almost as good as the next-gen 360 games! The graphics were just beautiful! Despite the minor graphical 'glitches' if you'll call it, the game plays perfectly with these graphics. Occasional lines across the screen, thats about it though. I still can't believe the graphics on this game, and could only imagine what it could have looked like on PS3!

Sound: Perfect. "nuff said." The orchestral numbers on this game are perfect, the music goes perfectly with the atmosphere of the game, and any situation Kratos is in, a song plays that perfectly fits it. Could I stress that it was perfect enough? Said that word quite a lot. Voice acting was awesome as well.

Value: Once you beat the game, tons of unlockables! For one there is Titan mode(one bad ass mother **** mode). There are costumes to unlock for each mode you beat the game on, and each costume has a different effect. One gives kratos more health, one gives more magic, etc. Also when you beat the game on a mode, it allows you to play with all your current magics levels unlocked, and lets you play with the blade of olympus, on that mode. And this game is so fun, that you will want to play it over again. There are also urns you can find in the game, which unlock cheats for you to use.

Tilt: I just loved the game. The gory violence, the epic story, the silky smooth graphics, the perfect orchestra, and just being able to play as the bad ass Kratos! One of my favorite all time games!
