God of War 2 is not only one of if not the best action game on the ps2, but its one of the best games of all time

GOW 2 might not make the same impact as the first one but it still is way better than the first and still an awesome game. The gameplay in GOW 2 really hasnt changed but that is just the way it should be. The gameplay is still good enough and should not be changed. The only problem is that there is too much button mashing but I really dont mind that much. The combat has fairly changed but there is a couple of new moves and combos in the game. The graphics have improved but not by much though it still looks spectacular and is easily one of the best looking games on the ps2. The sound is still great. The music is awesome and hearing the enemies scream in agony is just sick. The game still isnt that long but it is longer than the first. It will take you(depending on how good you are and what difficulty you play in) a dozen hours(12 hours) to beat the game. The first one could be beaten in about six hours so this one is nearly twice as long as the first. Though you probably will want to keep playing after you beat it because it is just so damn fun to play the story mode. The story mode if from the time it starts to the time it ends. The action never stops. There will always be action in the game. There are more enemies and bosses i this game though less puzzle and the ones here arent as complex as the ones in the first game. The story once again is really good but unfortunately it will leaves you hanging at the end but we all know why. Obviously there is going to be a 3rd part and it is coming to the ps3 soon. The game has also some unlockables which is great because that adds more replay value. The story in this one is that now you are the "God of War". Then Kratos doesnt listen to the Gods and then the Gods betray him. They drain your power and give it to a big statue and it becomes a colossus. So then you have to get revenge on the Gods. If you want to learn more than go and buy the damn game and play it. So GOW 2 is overall great or an "Immersive" game that almost anyone should enjoy. If you hated the first one then this one unfortunately wont change your mind. This game is definitely better than the first and is worth the 50.
