God of War 2 requires no introduction. You are just about to get immersed with one of the finest sequels in history.
How you may ask? I mean, how can you make something so darn good, even better? God of War 2 contains more puzzles, enemies, weapons, movies, magic, bosses, story, and gameplay. It just has simply "MORE" of everything.
When I think back on my GOW2 experience, I have many pleasant thoughts. I have the thoughts of the killer story, weapons, and gameplay. I also have thoughts of the hours I've spent trying to get past certain levels, and all the frustration and cussing at certain parts.
I initially had the game set on normal. 80% of the game through this mode, I felt it was perfect. It wasn't hard, but it definitely "challenging" Which means, you'll probably be reloading every 25 minutes or so.
Well, I thought it was challenging until I've reached the certain stage, in which I had to run down the large winding path to fight the big blob chick towards the very end. This was absolutely, the hardest part in the game. After 2+ hours of getting my ass handed to me, I decided to switch it to easy mode. I completed this section without a single scrape. How can normal mode be THAT much harder? It seems that they could have lightened up on this section a little bit more. Once you switch it to easy, there is no turning back. Which means, I had to fight Zeus on easy, which was......easy. If I had known that the section I was on was the hardest section in the game, I would have not switched. I was sort of thinking that if it "got hard now, it's only going to get harder later."
You're left with a completely "drop off" ending. Count on there being another GOW..that's for sure.
When playing GOW 2, expect either an easy experience (easy), or a challenging experience (medium). GOW has also two harder modes, in which I can't even begin to think about the difficultly level.
