Everything you thought it would be and more... (with lots and lots of blood!)

Imagine if the gameplay of 'Devil May Cry' met up with the visual style and novelty of 'Prince of Persia'. They decided to have a child, and raise it under the principles of 'Shadow of the Colossus'. That unholy love-child would then be named 'God of War 2'!!!!!!

It's hard to play this game and not think about its predecessors. For instance, if you thought 'Mortal Kombat' was pushing the limits on videogame gore 20 years ago, 'GoW2' pays glorious homage in pools of red, oozing satisfaction.

Oh, and Boss battles abound in this game! After a couple of tries to figure out the best strategy, it feels SO GOOD to finally crush your opponent in violent spurts of rage.

New weapons, new usable items (Spoiler alert ! ! ! --- you can fly with the wings of Icarus!!!) Everything you liked about the first game... multiply it by... oh, some number. Any number will do. It's just better. And the first GoW was friggin' awesome.

Don't let anyone convince you this is a game from the "last generation". Do I wish it was made for PS3? Yes, of course. Do I feel like it's taking a step backwards? Helz, to the NO!!!
