This game is the best game for the ps2 and even lives past God of War 1!

Let's start with the good. The creatures in this game are more varied than in the last game. For example there are 3 different types of cerberus, a few kinds of harpies, 2 kinds of sirens, 2 kinds of medusas, and 4 (or 3) kinds of minotaurs. They also put some new enimies like boarmen, imps, and griffins. Also if you rip out enough cyclops eyes you get a costume which is cool. And you get to ride pegasus which is cool. In this game you also find a lot more red orbs and treasures. It is easy to increase your weapons and mana/magic meter in this game. You have a wider weapon range as well. For example you get a war hammer, a spear, and a giant blade for some time. The hammer is really good on bigger things such as minotaurs and certain bosses. The spear is good against smaller faster guys like medusas, and satyrs. The Blades though are still the best in my opinion because they have a bigger range that other weapons. They can be used on anything. There are more bosses. This is a major improvement from the first game since there were only 3 bosses. In this game there is a boss on almost every level. The bosses are all unique and require different ways to kill them. The storyline was also a lot better and left you at a giant cliffhanger. Now the bad. There was a lot of repetetive stuff such as killing a griffin. You killed a griffin the same way every time. That got very boring and almost pointless. You basically killed all creatures the same way. The game's biggest problem though was it was too short. It lasted hardly 7 hours. The creators should have made the storyline longer. Other than those 2 problems the game was superb and is definitely worth the price. Infact it is so good i'm considering getting a ps3 just for the 3rd game.
