Everything was perfect in this game except Kratos
Gameplay : 9
The controls are solid, the attacks hit as intended and the flow of combat versus story is just right. Only downside I would say is its incredibly repetitive. You fight very few enemies and you see the same enemies from the very beginning to the very end.
Graphics : 10
Nothing has yet to be this lush in graphic detail. The characters look great, the environment fits the setting and just look great even as far as the eye can see. One thing very noticeable about the game is the things going on in the background look as good as what you see in front of you.
Sound : 7
For the most part the sound is great. Although very little sound is used that hasn't been used already. Seems nothing new is added. Moving objects, hitting enemies all feels as plain as ever. One major drawback for me was Kratos's voice acting and his personality. Many times Kratos just sounded over dramatic and too badass for what was needing to be said.
Story : 8
The story felt empty compared to the two previous games. Some plots were just left wide open and none of the original story really came into play. Towards the end of the game i noticed the story had many holes and when it was all over i had lots of ? above my head. For the most part though everything played out well and i enjoyed what story i was given.
Replay Value : 8.5
A game like this cannot be played only once. It may be a few months before you turn it back on, but one day you will want to do it again. You have a few options open to you once you beat the game. You are able to do challenges and arena modes which add some final flow to the game. You also unlock the Chaos difficulty which I'm sure will test any player. Hard wasn't too bad but it had little room for slip ups. Other than these things unless you want to find all the collectibles you missed I see no reason to want to jump right into playing again.
Final Score : 8.5
GOOD: (great combat, amazing graphics, perfect ending to a classic)
BAD : (bad voice acting, few enemies, holes in story)
