Kratos comes back for his final journey- and its nothing to be afraid of!
Why you ask? Well....
The graphics are absolutely fantastic- especially the character models (for example Kratos, Helios, Hemes, Hades and Zeus) combined with the scale of the environment (such as getting to fight on the arm of a titan upside down) is downright amazing. The attacks in game are also flashy but not overdone so that is looks childish. Blood and gore in game is realistic to the point that it sometimes make you flinch (e.g. you can see the optics nerve snap when you pull out a cyclops eye)
Gameplay remains largely unchanged...but why should it be altered? It was good before, now it just gets better! (with the introduction of getting to switch weapons halfway through the fight and other minor improvements) The controls are very sharp but not overly responsive.
Story, of course, is strong- kinda cliche, but powerfully told. It is not as great as the first or second, but still cool enough for an average gamer to care about what happens next.
The only disappointment in this game may be the awkward ways in which the camera moves from time to time. Especially during the platforming parts, it can pan away at the moments you need it most, resulting in some random jumping that felt like it depended more on chance than skill which will take you to the next sequence :P
The main campaign is around 8-10 hours long (depending on the difficulty setting the gamer puts it on) and the challenges can lengthen your experience by 1-3 hours....A MUST BUY!
