Overall an epic experience (WARNING SPOILERS)

GRAPHICS
Great visuals, especially Kratos being meticulously detailed and well-animated, truly seeming like a living breathing agent of chaos. Unfortunately the other characters aren't as well modeled/detailed so this disjointed look can be disappointing at times when Kratos interacts with them in a cutscene. Some disappointing characters were Pandora, Hermes, Hera and Zeus who looked PS2 era-ish with a bit of normal maps added.

MUSIC
Great music all around though a few that stand out for me is (although a bit overused) Rage of Sparta and Poseidon's Wrath.

GAMEPLAY
Epic boss battles abound but unfortunately the final boss battle seemed to run out of gas for it in what is mostly a rehash of the last game. One section of which seemed to ape 2D fighters and platformers like Mortal Kombat and Megaman in being restricted to a 2D plane. The final battle should've been something we haven't seen before from Zeus that would top even his final GOW2 form. Or perhaps someone other than Zeus himself and bump him down to a sub-boss perhaps.

Context-sensitive actions are much more intuitive now as well as a bit more forgiving in that they appear in relation to button placement and linger a bit more even slowing down actions in-game a bit to accommodate slowing reflexes.

During first playthrough however I found myself falling off ledges quite a bit due to the stricter timing on the Icarus wings gliding.

The additional acquired weapons all seemed similar to the blades of chaos/athena/exile but with their own unique properties and twist to movesets established with these chained blades. Perhaps this is why I preferred the Nemean Cestus the most since they were the most unique of the four and were satisfying to use the gauntlets to pound on the hapless fiends.

VALUE
Great replay value for those who would seek to challenge themselves with the tough as nails challenges and trophies. While I found my value in its sheer epic scale and and its being a graphical showcase, so this is definitely a keeper for me as the first two were.
