Who kicks all ass...?
The Good: Amazing gameplay. kick-ass graphics, Original Music, Really good story, beautiful art, good puzzles, awesome weapon selection, only for PS3!
The Bad: O.o
I ruined lots of the beginning of the game for myself when I went online and watched walkthroughs before I even got the game. I stopped after a brief period with Poseidon. I thought that was gonna be one of the best parts of the game until I actually bought the game. IT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE GAME!
Yeah, if you have seen the fight with Poseidon your in for a load more!
The graphics; at first look I thought it was a CGI movie on youtube. Then he started playing in CGI movie and I thought "This isn't right..." and then it snapped "OH MY GOD THAT'S GAMEPLAY!" Every inch of Kratos' body is so carefully worked on that his muscles contract, his veins pop, and his chains aren't flat! Then you see Gaia with every individual tree, crack, rock, everything! Absolutely stunning graphics!
The Sounds and Music; are freaking sweet. You hear Kratos' chains tinkle, his blades sheath, his deep breathing, the cut of an enemy and the spatter of blood, the fire crackling, the heartbeat of Gaia, the lightning flash across the sky while the rain falls on your skin. It's awesome. The music is original, from God of War I and II. Then there are some new theme songs, such as the music at the main menu which shouts out "THIS IS GONNA BE EPIC, START NOWWWWW!!!!!"
The Story; you're gonna have to wait and see because you know what? Your gonna be mind blown.
The gameplay: Do you wanna launch an enemy into the air? You can. You wanna grab the enemy in the air and bash him? You can. You wanna pick someone up and use him as a battering ram? YOU FREAKING CAN! Everything your controller lets you do is epic, even pulling a lever gives a small amount of gratitude for the fact that as soon as you held the button he latched on to the crank. Everything reacts very, very well.
In conclusion; God of War III is the fitting end to the GOW franchise, and most unforgettable piece of art you will ever experience for (possibly) your entire life.
PS: All those with a XBox360, throw that out, buy a PS3 and play God of War III.
