In my head i still think of this as a good game.

When I saw this game, its white cover caught my eye, it reeled me in with the unexplainable title, and it got me to purchase it with its description of elemental control and ninja swordplay. Dang marketers, some people can make anything sound good. GoDai: Elemental Force is a bad game, not because it has a weird game board layout, or because of the unrefined response or terrible gameplay or even the unexplained reasons why some levels just stop and you can go no further. No, GoDai, is bad because all the things that were good and original were skewed and twisted to a horrible and frustrating mess. Fighting your way to a magical shrine to achieve the control over an element is a great idea. Using that element to fight more bad guys on your way to another shrine is still a good idea. It is a good idea to keep going to magical shrines to receive control over an element so you can take revenge on some real bad guy that killed your family. It is not a good idea to make getting the elemental forces and not taking revenge the game. The sad thing is this game seemed so cool when I bought it, and it wasn’t even that bad until I paid attention to what I was playing. Why do developers put out games that are just not finished? I would purchase a remake of this game if serious consederation for the consumer was made and if the developers tried to make the game playable. Right now I am ashamed to have this game in my collection.
