So this is a great game! yes, very similar in theory to the monster hunter franchise, but the gameplay, scenematics, and the overall mood are really good. If you like/loved monster hunter, you should be pleased with this game. personally, i only got it because i got tired of playing Monster hunter freedom unite while waiting for Portable third to come out. The weapon crafting and selection is very different from mosnter hunter and i really like how you can switch from gun to sword. Best thing about this game is that there are almost no loading screens. The character customization is pretty good, lol but i'm a little bummed out about how much my custom character looks liek every other anime character. Other than that, this is a great buy, definately worth palying. It may take a couple of rounds to get used too but the storyline is really good, i find myself playing for hours on end just trying to see where the story is going to head to next.
