This kooky, crazy game is actually a lot of fun.

User Rating: 8.7 | Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon 2 N64
Goemon's Great Adventure is the follow-up to Mystical Ninja starring Goemon, and this time around you have the ability to play with two players. Goemon and co. are back at it again, this time they are trying to chase a crazy Ebisumaru look-alike named Bismaru and stop the revival of the demon prince. This game plays somewhat faster than the first game, and that is pretty good considering that there are two players this time. The basic flow of the story can be a little awkward, but the story is part of what makes the game so charming. The attacks and weapon upgrades work well, and the life system is fine, but sometimes on some hard levels you might have to get hurt on purpose to advance in the stage. The robot stages are a lot of fun, and the punching combinations are pretty easy to pull off. The robot stages are even more fun with two players. Eventually, when you get all of the entry passes, then you even get the chance to play with four players, which gets really, really hectic in the longer levels. All in all, this game was surprisingly good, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys any type of adventure game.
