Golden Sun is awesome, hands down

I don't know why Gamespot is so critical of this game. I have waited so long for another golden sun and they finally deliver and it doesn't miss a beat. Sure, story-wise it is the usual kids set off on an adventure that saves the world, but seriously, what game now isn't a cliche rip off? Especially the overwhelming number of games claiming to be original but are just God Of War with a new skin. This game is a breath of fresh air, we forget how satisfying a simple RPG can be nowadays. You can take the time to plan your moves. Anyway. Graphics are great, granted the DS can only get sub par N64 graphics but still good. The battle system is the same as it was but the addition of summon cut scenes makes the game a lot flashier like a FF cut scene. Use of the stylus is great, it handles much like the new zelda games. You can choose not to use it either but it makes things a bit easier and fun. All in all, this was def worth picking up if you are a fan of the first two and like great RPGs that you can unwind with. AND you can save your game whenever you want! Bonus!
