Golden Sun was a hit as it came to be part of the RPG family for the nintendo GBA system. As it grew popular and famous, someone tought: hey it'll be a great idea making a secuel of this game!!!.
So what happened? Lost Age came out...
Lost Age is a great secuel for the first GS game. Not only it keeps the best of the previous game, but it has new features, new characters to play with, new puzzles and it s much more longer than the first game.

Graphically speaking this game is probably the best of all GBA games i've played. It exploits the capabilities of the GBA in an amazing way, great graphics and great animations. The character design is quite good, so are the diferent scenarios where this game takes place.
Sound's good, quite appropiate and decent. Gameplay is easy to learn, pretty much as a classic RPG game, not much challenge there.

This game it's easily addictive, however, it does have certain points which you, as a gamer, might not like...
First of all.. difficulty... this game is full of puzzles, some of them might not be hard to solve but some of them might end up with your patience. In some cases you might even want to visit a Faq page to learn what are you supposed to do.
Incluiding in the difficulty factor... this game keeps de Djinn system from the previous game, however, there are more Djinn to find in this game and some of them might be ... impossible to get unless you read a faq on how to do it... and you need to find them all in order to be able to fight the hardest boss in the game.

If you dont mind the difficulty, have patiencie and are willing to play a challenging,time-consuming, excellent RPG. Then this is one of the best choices you are going to find for GBA... if not the very best of them.
