How can gameboy advance make a game this good and with these kind of graphics?!

If you havn't played the first game, DO IT. It helps with the story. I can't even begin to fathom how great this game is. So I'll break it down.

Gameplay 10/10

Great controls. No flaws in how you move your character or how you select commands in battle. Everything responds very well. Sometimes too well. The lightest touch of the L and R buttons can sometimes trigger the activation of psynergy, but that is the gamer's fault and not the game's.

Graphics 10/10

They don't get much better than this for the gameboy advance. The explosions are beautiful. The Overworld and towns are wonderful. Everything has detail in it. The battles have amazing 3-d graphics for the characters, enemies, and djinn.

Sound 10/10

I liked the score. The music always fitted the town or the area. I like how the battle music changes depending on if Felix and Issac are in your party. The music was great and sounded great. Though what I did find out is that it doesn't sound as good sometimes on the DS at low volumes.

Value 10/10

You can replay this game several times before you lose interest, if you lose interest at all for that matter. I have recently even started over and played through it twice just because it is that fun and doesn't get old.

Tilt 10/10

Not a dull moment. The storyline is great. Everything is perfect about this game. The secret bosses are definitely not a push over like the ones in the original Golden Sun. I can't even think of anything to count against this game. This is an RPG of the highest standard. I only wished that there would be a sequel to this great series.

So there you have it. The gameplay and battle system is pretty much the same as it was before. There are more summons, classes, and psynergy in this game. PLUS you even get the original party from the first Golden Sun to be on your party! That totals up to 8 people in your party. What I liked most about this game is the fact that if the party you have fighting all die, it switches them out to the remaining party members that you have alive. Then you can switch out one of them with a downed party member and revive them. I have never seen an RPG do that and I'm really glad they did that. I would recommend this game to any RPG fan out there.
