Great RPG action you can take with you anywhere Saving the tiny world in my pocket was never so fun and p
The game begins with you home village dealing with a end of the world-ish disaster. After surviving that night, you and your small group of friends decide to go looking where you shouldn’t and begin a continent sized adventure with the world around you in the balance(…never heard a more original plot).
The game looks beautiful, or as much as a GBA game can. The characters are anime based in their design and thought you normally just see your self walking/running across the map the characters in the non-combat scenes are cute and easy to look at. The world you explore is a continent and you will go from the farthest northern reaches to the sea bordered south. Along the map there are the standard random battle monsters, and hidden helpful summons. This leads me to the combat of the game. Turn based menu scrolling battle is the name of the game and the actions taken by your group and the foes you face go from the simple slash of a knife, to the spectacular super moves done by your little summoned helpers. The music is great considering the nature of the game cartridge and the music is rarely the same as you go through the areas of the game.
This game was well worth the money I plunked down to acquire it, and I’ve enjoyed it every time I go through the game. The collection of the djinn and the finding of more powerful weapons though reminiscent of other RPGs is a challenge that is worth taking. I too recommend that if you enjoy playing RPGs and you don’t have this game you should go and get it.
