An all time classic and a excellent game for the gba
First off for those who don't know golden sun is an RPG/Adventure game or in layman's terms you do things one after another and they link together.
I don't want to ruin the game for you so i will just basically describe how you start off. In a wonderful world with magic like powers and a peaceful town, a rock collapses and you are a young boy. ALot of other things happen then you star off. You have powers which you can use in your adventure to make life easier and see the impossible become possible.
Gameplay - this game is priceless. It will keep you going, even if you do things in the quickest manor, days but for everyone else you get months on enjoyment playing it the first time. It is long but never gets boring. a 10/10 for gameplay.
Graphics - the graphics are good on such a small screen with the battle sequence extrodinary. i cant say the same for the world map though, it seems all you get is green, darker green (for trees) and a few brown spots when making your way around the world.
Sound - Personally i dont play adventure games with sound because i want to get the most life out of my gba, so i cant tell you first hand what the sound is like. However, people tell me that it is the best thing when you are in that cave, there are over 50 tracks of sound to cool your mind while playing, and each one of them totally different and going over 3 minutes long before replaying.
Value - Definetly worth the $35 i spent for it. A cheap game with a lifetime of gameplay. An awesome game and i highly recommend buying this game for your enjoyment.
As i finish i understand that it came out 5 years ago and i am not a crackpot! The sequel is good, and some say better, but personally i prefer the original for some unknown reason. Anyway if you are going to finish this game the 2 games (golden sun and its sequel) have everything to do with each other and you can even transfer your stats and items once you finish the game so be prepared for coffee and hand massages because you will not be able to put this game down
