GoldenEye is by far the best James Bond game ever, console FPS, maybe even the best game there is on N64!
If you have seen the movie, it's pretty much like it. James Bond ex-friend Trevelyan, a agent too, 006. He thinks James Bond betrayed him of some reason, and because of that he betrays him. And then he steals rockets from Russia and other stuff and has a great organization who is... evil.
//gameplay and graphics
The graphics in this game is very good for a N64, and today it is a real classic, at least if you played it before when it first was released and such. Single player is great, though multiplayer is even greater! To just get 3 friends and play this, it's even today one of my greatest multiplayer experiences. Controllers getting thrown around the room in anger, people lauhging at them because they was better. You just get so into the game. Single player too is quite entertaining, you may laugh because of the simple AI, and get as angry as ever at your 50th attempt to do Controls in 00 agent. The way they made the difficulties like Agent, Secret Agent and 00 Agent in the way it is, is one of the most brilliant at any time. The first stage might be one of your easiest experiences in a game, though the hardest parts seems nearly impossible at times.
//a final review
Well, I actually don't have any words to describe how good this game is, and it's quite odd in a way when you think of the other James Bond Games there is out there. Besides GoldenEye, it's pretty much just crap, but this is one of the greatest games ever. This game is a factor of what made James Bond really cool in modern times. Even though to times you wouldn't even remember you play as Bond because you get so into the game. Magnificent!
