To me, GoldenEye set the 'Gold' standard for what a first-person shooter should be like... it has great graphics (for the N64) and has an excellent single and multiplayer mode...

Single player is very in-depth and very well organized and, even for the N64, it has an awesome graphics display. The music and weapons sound effects add even more to an already fantastic game. The 'James Bond' score brings back memories from the classic movies. Multiplayer is in-depth and revolutionary. You can spend countless hours playing w/ your friends or cousins. Heck, you can live off the multiplayer mode, and not even play single player.

In conclusion, GoldenEye was a revolutionary game that set the Gold standard for the first-person shooter genre... it brings back countless priceless memories to me... honestly, GoldenEye is the reason why I became the videogame fanatic I am today...
