Amazing, just amazing.

User Rating: 9.8 | GoldenEye 007 N64
Goldeneye was one of the best N64 titles, and will forever go down as one of the rare, genre changing games. Previously, the FPS was a PC dominated genre. And then, there was Goldeneye. Not only did it make the transition to the console, it revolutionized the genre completely. I cannot say enough good things about it. Up until Perfect Dark, Goldeneye's unofficial sequel, this was the game to play on the N64. The single player has about thirty very well done missions with multiple difficulty levels and plenty of unlockables. I couldnt stop playing until I had beaten every single level, on every single level of difficulty. Thats just the single player. The multiplayer, at the time, was the best in the video game business. Hands down. N64, PS1, PC, you name it Goldeneye owned it. The multiplayer had extensive gametypes, guns, maps, and characters. It could, literally, be played for hours on end. This game became the basic mold for all following first person shooters. Up until Perfect Dark this game was the game to play with yourself, or your buddies. Period.
