I don't know how EA went from Bond EON to Goldeneye Rogue Agent. It's like going from Brooke Burke to Roseanne.

EA can say, "This is not a sequel," all that it wants. But if you're going to take the Goldeneye name at least make an effort to make the game interesting. I agree with EA this isn't a sequel it's someone trying to make money off a name. I guess at some point in time someone in industry is guilty of that. But, you could at least try to cover this mess with an interesting storyline. One minute you're an MI6 agent then your a rogue agent. Okay, is anyone confused as to why you're shooting other bad guys. When you're suppose to be bad as well. I understand that goldeneye is going after Dr. No for taking his eye. But, I think the game would have been much cooler if you were shooting good guy and not similar henchmen one after the other. EA could've put in cops, agents, or some other type of good guy instead of these vin diesel look alikes. Anyone who's played the game know what I'm talking about the guys with the goggles look like Riddick himself. The other guys look like S.W.A.T team members. The enemies vary as you progress, but not much. I don't know about you all but I can't stand when fps's targeting system feels off, clumbsy, or a combination of both. This game has that problem as well. The graphics and CS aren't bad but the sound is ordinary at best. Some sounds are good others are average. Dual-wielding weapons is fun, but what's the point the enemies still get up after about 4 shots to the chest... shotguns at point blank range would instantly kill anything. If I was you I would rent this one first or wait until there's a price reduction, because this game is fun. But this game does get repetitive and frustrating. I like how you can take a hostage and use them as a shield. I like the gun selection. The multiplayer even has some good wholesome fun in it. But this one is tough to recommend when you've got Halo, Halo 2, Killzone, Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Medal of Honor series, Call of Duty series, and the abundance of other fps on the market. Please don't waste your money rent for 5 or 6 bucks that would make more sense in my opinion. I could be wrong.
