Gradius III is a must play SNES shooter title.

Gradius III was one of the first games for SNES that I got with the system and I played it constantly and beat the games so many times that's not something that gives me pride but this game has a special place in my heart. It's a solid well made shooter where you can choose the power ups that you want, depending on how many power ups you can get.

The graphics are very good, nice animation and good level and sound design. This game can be hard so you have to play it over and over and finally learn the pattern of the enemies. I still remember the cheat codes for this game (up, up, down, down, L, R, L, R, B, A), really, twenty years latter and I still remember this code.

I recall been impressed when the VO said "power up" back in the day, oh well. I don't know where my copy of the game is anymore but I would like to have it back. If you see this game you should get it, I strongly recommend even if I never played any other Gradius game before of after the chapter III.
