The Gradius series is my favorite series of space shooters. Its original with its customization and sideways shooting. This is a perfect port of the first in the series. It has all you want and need with simple controls and fantastic gameplay. The graphics although are outdated to todays standards and will be fine with original fans but will definitly fend off newcomers. The sounds again are similar but still have the great gradius music and sounds. It is a slightly difficult, as you must continually go through things as dying can be usual but soon you will get the hang of everything and start getting through the game like any other. Basicly, if you got 4 bucks laying around and have even ever liked a classic space shooter this is probably worth your money for an easy break from extensive deep games like Zelda.
