GT4: What Improved And What Didn't From GT3
Better: Gran Turismo 4 has a wider range of cars to drive. However, this is somewhat of an understatement. The number of cars in GT3 was around 200. The number of cars in GT4 has grown to an unbelievable 700; a 350 percent increase. This allows the driver more choice so they can drive their dream vehicle to victory. Another improvement on GT3 is the vast array of tracks added to the collection, including the real-life tracks Nurburgring and Circuit De La Sarthe(Le Mans). This permits the user to drive on more circuits which are different, and therefore exciting, instead of driving on the same tracks where nearly all the corners have been memorized. The Driving Missions have also been added to GT4 to include new races with a twist that couldn't be experienced in a normal race.
Worse: The lack of races to participate in. The number of races has dropped significantly. There were 75 cups in GT3, but in GT4, this number dropped to around 60. Those figures don't include the "Manufacturer Races". Sure, the number of Endurance races has climbed, but, if you're like me, this isn't an improvement.
