A classic if not for the (over) realism. Would've been better with an arcade style/mode.
Blows most racing games away with this crisp, realistic view of cars worldwide. Absolutely no polygons or pixels can be made out at reasonable distance. A great improvement over GT3:A Spec.
Sound: 10/10
Need I comment? Sound at a racetrack can basically be reproduced by a power driller...
Gameplay: 7/10
Now here is the great downfall of this classic racer. I just don't understand how anyone could be interested in 50 or more hours of turning around corners at 40 mph. Also, there's NO autopilot for those 50 lap endurance races... the fingers begin to feel numb at around the 40th lap or so... Other than these, there's nothing wrong with most other aspects of the game. I especially like the car tilting due to centripedal force, the weight transfer during accel and braking, and also the world circuits. If there WAS an arcade mode where cars could drift around corners at 100 mph or so, then I'd say this is a 10.
