I am not going to say this is the bast game of all time, couse it is not posible for any game to be. Troughout the years I have played all Gran Turismo series upto this one. All of them ware in the high ranks for me. I have read many reviews that have been posted here. Most eather X-Box fans or those who can't stand the fact that the existance of Gran Turismo 4 seems to exist. Gran Turismo 4 is an dedicated GT Racing Simulator that makes the PlayStation 2 controller the and the TV screen the only thing seperating you from reality. Fonza Motorsport is most likly to simulate Gran Turismo 4 itsslf. - GAMEPLAY - The game play in GT4 is outstanding. There is an great sense of speed compare to GT3. All the cars handel well to it's specs. This time around I feel GT4 to be more challenging in races. You need to be realy good around cornering ao you don't spinnout or get off the track. This is something you will learn doig your licance testing. - GRAPHICS - Gran Turismo 4's graphics are truely amazing and eyepoping. I was realy impresed with the amount of detail on the tracks. The draw distancs was realy impresive, the mountains and the trees and the far away details in the distance. The animated crows is one of the new things in GT4. All the cars are very detaild to everything and intirior shows as well. The cars that have their sunroof down will stay like that in the race unlike in GT3. There are actual drivers in the cars. Another thing I was imoresed with was the scale of things. What I mean is how the tracks and areas are true to life scale. The tracks road is vide as it is in teal life of that same track. One thing I realy liked was the texturing they have done. I have never seen this sort of texturung in any PS2 Game.I would know I do 3D myself. I love the redone tracks from old GTs. This is hard to explain but when I am racing on tracks from GT and GT2 they feel like those tracks buy with new GFX. they got the texturing right this time around for these tracks. - SOUND - There are quite a number of music tracs in GT4. Some of tunes I knew and like some I did not, but it's not something i will give it low score couse off. The sound FX are to my ears perfect. I am not one to judge overall couse I don't realy know what a car sounds like while in a race at 120Mph.... I have noticed that in the menus of GT4 there are some remied tunes from the previous games. I realy tought it was nice to hear it, made it feel like a small beets of previous GT menu enviroments. - OVERALL - At the cost of $50 for this great game at no seccond tought I bought it. Fore those who can't afford it right away rental is a great oprion. Only wrong thing to do would be not to try this game at all. This game has so much to offer that will keep you playing for many weeks and as a dedicated GT Racing game will last till Playstation 3, Gran Turismo 5. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SORRY for any miss spelling. - Did not have time for spell sheck.
