The 4th installment to the Gran Turismo Series is a huge letdown. Almost Identical gameplay and game modes (except for b-spec) as the last installment. the graphics are amazing for what they pulled off with the PS2, and all the cars are modeled perfectly, with amazing detail, reflection, the game looks almost photo-realistc at times. It has over "700" cars, although that number is misleading, with just different versions of the exact same car happeeing quite a few times. If you already own Gran Turismo 3, only buy this game if you're craving the EXACT same game with more cars. If you're expecting leaps and bounds in the gameplay department, you may be in for absolutely NO surprise. Same license testing at the begining too. If you were hoping for online multiplayer, none of that here either. No online multiplayer? No thanks! (it's all I was really hoping for anyways) Gran Turismo 4 seems like more of a expansion pack than a proper sequel. If you already own Gran Turismo 3, it's a rental at best. (unless you want to buy it for the newer cars anyways) If you've NEVER tried a Gran Turismo game before, it's worth a try, you'll spend a good 20-30 or more hours (even more if you dig the "simulation" driving physics) collecting your cars, and find a really deep racing experience.
