aside from the fact that the cars don't handle as well as gt3, it makes up one of the best racing simulators ever.

so when gran turismo 4 came out it was the rebirth of driving as we know it. i can't say i was extremely impressed that after 4 years this is what we get. sure there are 5 kagillon cars and the graphics made Microsoft cry, but i wanted a bit more realistic driving. the 3rd was soooooo close to perfecting it, then they change up the physics of the game.
i was, however, glad to see the return of those turn key muscle cars available in gt2 and gt1. their handling is quite alright, if you ignore the under steer. many 400+hp cars OVER STEER, but thats because of the crappy tcs and asm.
i didn't like the fact that game was developed right before the growth in domestic tuning popularity, that kinda cut out my car, the N body, sister to the
Pontiac Grand Prix. but enough about that.

the main point is that racing fans are welcome to this game, but don't try to apply real world racing tactics that you learn at the track.
