Hey, its the barulez making another review. Well, it has been almost a decade from the first Gran Turismo. The series breaks new ground with realism and simulation. When the third one went out, I was amazed with the graphics and gameplay. It was so great and I was hoping a sequel is at the works. It did. Welcome to the the next racer that tops them all, Gran Turismo 4. I got it a week after its release and been playing ever since. Driving games are always fun for me and this one is different in realism. The cars are so perfect in every detail. You can customize your cars to make them faster and durable. The sound for this game is terrific. The car screeching, starting the engine, the music and breakes make it so real and more fun. Three new features for this game. First feature I like is the new B-spec Director's Mode. You can tell your driver to do this and that and watch it like a nice long replay. Very useful in Endurance Mode. Watch out for the 24 hour races because it will take a whole day to finish it. Next, people will watch you like the real thing; for instance when you race the dirt track at Grand Canyons, you see people watch in front of you and runs back to the crowd. Neat! Last, they have a mode to make your own pictures from different cities with your car. For example, you can put your Ford GT at Grand Canyons or Ford Mustang GT at Las Vegas and so on. Pretty nice. The only problem is the gameplay and its still the same but nothing wrong with that but I was hoping they will do something about it. Maybe with the Vision GT will do that when the PS3 comes out. Well, thats it. This game will take months to beat it even if you have a cheat, still have to beat almost the same time as playing without it.
