Gran Turismo 4 is the best Racing Game ever. (Until Gran Turismo Vision?)

Being a fan of all of the Gran Turismo Games (Not so much the first one), naturally I knew I would like this game. It has way more cars than any of of the other GT games and much better handling physics. Seriuosly. None of the cars handle or feel the same. And there are a LOT of cars.
One feature I really enjoy is the ability to have the computer do an endurance race for you. Instead of sitting for an hour or two doing a hundred laps on one course, and damn near giving yourself carpel tunnel. I just pick the fastet car I have (Minolta Toyota Race Car) and have it race a bunch of other wimpy cars. This is a nice way of getting a lot of money without doing much work.
I love the major attention to the background detail in the race tracks.(Polyphony does the best job at this). Sometimes when on El Capitan or Grand Canyon. I sometimes just stare at the background and end up crashing. The amazing amount of depth makes you feel like your actually there.
The things that I did not find satisfying are:
Not being able to race certain "Special"cars like the Plymouth Prowler.
Vague descriptions on the effects of changing settings on suspension parts.
Not many exterior modification options.
And the lack of Honda Civics.
But despite some minor setbacks. GT4 in my opinion is the best racing game made so far. PGR and Enthusia can't come close.
