This has to be the easiest license obtaining, Gran Turismo ever. (not to mention the let someone else race & win for you feature) While 5 is the latest version, and has more visual performance, Gran Turismo 4, in comparison has more music tracks, more race tracks and more cars, even my real tiny compact made it into this game. I also saw some SUV's seemed to have made it into here as well. I bought this game back on PS2, I attempted onto PS3 later, at first before updates over time PS3 had a hard time interpreting it. I did get the latest PS3 Gran Turismo, but eventually I went back to to getting 4 to work on PS3.
Now, it actually works visually well, graphically it doesn't look like 5, but for a PS2 game it actually looks good in HD, especially that it can run on my 80 gig PS3, which is built for more performance. Note, while I got an 80 gig from the Sony store, and it works on mine, I don' think that is the case anymore, and am pretty sure they stopped making the reverse compatibility.
