5 years in the making!

I will leave this short, I rate it an 8 out of 10 as it is still a good solid racing/sim game, sure it has some annoying stupid additions that they should have let out and some weird things as stated by other gamers on here. The graphics are top notch (on my h/d tv) but seeing I am on level 19 on A spec, level 26 on B spec there are lots of things that they should have done different, damn they had 5 years to get this thing perfect, and even sold us a prologue some years ago, but no this Japanese dude did not asked the gaming community for any input. I rate Forza better due to it not being in a 5 years development stage, so we did not hype our selfs up like we did with this GT edition. I think the way you could tune your cars are better in Forza and GT4, sure GT5 has better graphics but it is about overall usage and game play that I look for, I just could not give GT5 a 10 as that would mean it was perfect 100%, and it falls short of that if you have played all GT series and all Forza editions. I have read that the makers are working to fix some issues with GT5, thats all fine and well but by the time they get to that I will have finished this game so whats the use I say, it is an insult after 5 years of waiting, a prologue edition and it still had lots of things wrong with it . 8 out of 10 for me, but it could and should have been the game of 2010.

UPDATE! I am on level 30 in B spec, and the so called damage is a joke, sure you might get some fender dents but it has no bearing on the handling. My main B spec driver is not really any better at racing, sure some races it's good, but at some it seems to suffer from mad cow disease, and as stupid as stupid get's, shift pattern from gear to gear is all over the place at times, backs of in corners so other cars just over take you. I enter races with a car with way more HP and less weight and I still get my B spec driver beaten. But the worst fault I have noticed is in the Endurance race's you will enter a tournament of 5 races, start of with hard racing tires, on a dry track, than the next race could be a wet weather race, I change my tires to wet weather, start the race and all the other cars carried on from the race before on hard racing tires, and yes I beat them so easy and they all pit on the next lap, but than I am so far in front its all over, sure I take the win, but it is a fault in the game. And there is no real way to alter the settings on your gear box as you used to be able in GT4, all it does it alters everything in 1 step, no control of the finale diff ratio. To level up in xp for your driver is way of the scale, and when you win a car at the level I am at is at most times a waste and not usable for the races I still need to win. Sure it is still a good game, but come on makers of this game you had 5 years to get this perfect, but no they stuff up some major parts of this game.
