Looking for a F2P online action 2D DMC kind of experience, if so then look no further
It is quite fun and I have not come to any kind of level grinding (but I have had to try and save up alot of GP, which is the game's currencey). It has 3D cel-shaded graphics with 2D movement (sorta like Maplestory, but I've never played Maplestory before). The game has quite low system requirements (I don't even have a decent graphics card like nVidia or ATI and my computer's processor is only 1.5 MHZ yet it runs perfect for me)
The game has a world map with a couple continents each with roughly 6 "dungeons". These dungeons act as levels with branching paths. Advancing through a dungeon is simple, you are put in the first room, defeat all the enemies in that room, move onto the next room until you ecounter the boss of the dungeon. As with any F2P you can exchange real cash from credit card to get coins to purchase rare armor, weapons, pets etc.
The PvP is unbalanced to say the least, many cheap players use the archer which their special attacks send volleys of arrows flying everywhere. They also fire arrows then run and repeat, chasing them will get you killed but when you are not chasing them and they will stand back and fire arrows till you die. The winning team is usually the team with the best or most archers or mages. The PvP is also necessary for levelling up as the normal dungeons give only 1/4 of the exp. as PvP.
Some bad things about it though, it isn't a large free-roaming MMORPG. From the start you can only play as female characters which can put some male gamers off, but after some GP saving you can purchase a quest to allow you to play as a male character. There is only ONE english server so it probably will be quite crowded if the game gets popular quickly but hopefully ntreev will create more servers. Sometimes I have to restart the client completely and it can sometimes lag with countless players on one level. One time everybody had to leave a level on a boss because eveything except the players froze. The worst flaw is the unbalanced PvP (which is necessary for levelling up) unless you are a great archer then you are a cheap player and piss off others, seriously!
It's definitely worth trying cos it's free and it's a really good action experience in my opinion when in the normal campaign.
