The improvement of graphical details really enhance an already amazing game. Lighting seems to have been overhauled as reflections of buildings are visible on cars. As well as trees/buildings take on more lifelike shadows. The only serious change other then graphics are the controls. Some gamers might be stubborn and perhaps reluctant to try the xbox version due to the change in button placement. It only takes a few minutes to realize how comfortable the gas/brake setup is. The two analog shoulder buttons on the top of the controller give an amazing amount of control. The playstation version uses X for gas, which is an analog button, but often leaves your thumbs hurting in the morning. A simple pull on your index finger and you're flying. While your two index fingers rest on the gas/brake this leaves your thumb for crunching down on the hand brake. Pretty soon you will be executing hairpin turns with ease! It's very important to tap the gas a little while making a hard turn, you keep your momentum which is important during car chases or timed events. I've often looked back on GTA3 with nostalgia. The xbox version allows me to play it almost as if its an entirely new game. With momentarty sparks of deja vu that hit me once in a while. If you've never played GTA3 or GTAVC then I suggest you grab it right now. RIGHT NOW. RUN. But if you already own both PS2 versions, I suggest you grab it right now. WALK FAST! FAST!
