A good game idea shrinked into a portable console.

Well, if you think of it, the concept of walking around a city and hitting every thing you can is not the kind of thing you would port to a portable, but they did a good job porting the idea. The GTA advance looks more like the two first GTA PC versions, but most of the features in GTA 3 PC version can be found here. The game is build on a mini missions concept, and you progress your self by completing the tasks. One thing you can say is that the game is packed with missions (around 300) that gives a good life-time to the game. But with the GTA spirit you can still go around the city and do what ever you want. The graphics are good, the game has kind of 3D modeling, you can actually see almost 3D building, the cars are great and each car handles differently (you can turn over a bus while turning...). The game is still top down but looks great, you even leave behind bloody foot steps after killing a guy and thats nice. Nothing bad to say about the game sound, great sound effects, great background sound and great radio music. The only con i found in this game is the saving part, although you can save your progress in the game you have to do it from a specific spot in the city, so you need to get there every time you want to save. Finally, go and get it, its a must for the gba owners.
