This is a very fun, and portable, version of GTA.

Gta Advanceis a great deal like it's predicessors in both it's structure and design. You play as Mike, a guy who's best friend died and is trying to get revenge. The story is just as weak as any other Gta titles, but who really cares about the plot in a Gta game? The only reason the other games in the series did not get reemed for thier stories are because of the full aniamted cut scens and supurb voice acting. The sound in Gta Advanced is very good considering what the GBA is capable of. Many people mgiht say that it is poor, but they are not taking into consideration the power of the system. For what they have it is very well done. You will hear cops over thier radio, sirens, crashes, all the good stuff, and solid background music that does not hinder the experience by getting on your nerves. The graphics on are up to par with the original titles created for the PC and PS1 but have a brighter and more cartoony look to make it easier to see on the GBA screen. The cars are easily disinguishable from one another and easy to see, which in turn makes driving easier. All the explosions and blood puddles are here as well. The buildings are usually viewed top down but move with the camera to show that they have depth and are 3D. Each car has it's own specific stats that add a nice bit of depth to your car selection as well. There can at times be a small lack of the feeling that your going fast, but thats is mainly because the lack of cars on the road, due to the power fo the GBA. The gameplay is your standard Gta run around and kill people, along wit hte casual mission. All in all this game is a very solid entry into the Gta franchise that should defiantely be picked up if you want a little Gta on the go.
