Amazing for it's time

This is what showed the power of the PS2, and showed games arent the same anymore. This is one of the first games that had an open enviorment, and one of the first to let you do what ever you want between missions.

When i first played this game it was in 2002, and since then i loved playing GTA games. The missions are good and for it's time the graphics were good, also the weapon and vehicle options are okay.

But with all great games there are some problems. With this game some missions are very hard to beat, and sometimes the streets can be transparent.
But all in all this game was very inovative.

I recommand buying this game, especially if your a new gamer because it will teach you how GTA became GTA.
