Grand Theft Auto III is truly unique and revolutionary. It's the first full 3D full three town exploreable City, by car, bus, truck, plane, Tank, Tram, subway, or foot. It's one of the best virtual worlds out there. Well of coarse until it's sequels. You can run around pretty much doing what ever you want to. Steal cars, run over pedestrians, run around shooting things, or people. Picking up chicks, Doing missions for the mob, and doing lots of games and sub quests. Wait till you get the tank! I could not believe how much of the city you could run around without facing loading problems. It's very very rare to see the city loading itself or keeping up with you as you traverse the town. You can even see things from the other towns in the background, which are very far away. If you have not tried this game or it's sequels it is a must. At the time there was nothing like this game anywhere, and was a true great departure from it's overhead predecessor.
