GTA IV is a much more mature and dark reality and tells you how much Rockstar North put into cinematic storytelling.

Want to do things that you could never do in real life? Grand Theft Auto IV is the perfect place to go. The graphics are an upgrade from the predecessor "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas", not counting Rockstar Leeds portable port "Liberty City Stories" and "Vice City Stories". Something that may be a bit new that you have seen lately in GTA is its ability for better storytelling. This is where is shines. Here is some GTA IV good stuff, and bad stuff.

Why should I swim over to Liberty City?

Beautiful city; Outstanding Story; Enough variety to last you; Calling friends to have fun with; Great characters; Expandable (ie; The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony)

Why should I put away my gun and go play LittleBigPlanet?

Graphics may lower; Not as custom as San Andreas; No physical stats like in San Andreas.

This game is great, and is worth it's new price. It was worth it back in April 2008 when it was full price. The story is great. I will not spoil the story but I will tell you the concept.

"Niko came to Liberty City to find the "American Dream" his cousin has been no so true about for 10 years in his emails. Niko came back just to find out that everything was fake and the "American Dream" is just a dream."

It would have been nice if it had the physical stats it had in San Andreas. Doing different things in San Andreas affected your muscles, fat, sex appeal, and lung capacity. That is no longer a feature. Those few RPG elements are now gone and the game runs a different engine. It runs on RAGE and Euphoria. The games map is pretty big, though not as big as San Andreas, which was a whole entire state.

This game is a great game for GTA fans but I know some people do think this game is over-rated. That is unfortunate for them because they do not know what they are missing out on. Thanks for reading.
